Did you know pharmacists are among the most accessible and trusted healthcare providers? Or that nearly 80% of the US population lives within 5 miles of a Walgreens pharmacy? Or that 75% of all participants in trials conducted to assess the efficacy of drugs approved in 2020 by the FDA identified as white, despite the highest prevalence rates of health disparities being observed in people of color? Come with questions and hear how Walgreens leverages its trusted pharmacist & clinician resources, community partnerships, and a focus on local community healthcare to prioritize increased access to convenient health services, resources, and information for all.
